House Watch

If you are a Collier County resident who is going out of town temporarily, you can sign up for our free service that provides checks of your property by a CCSO member while you’re away.

What is House Watch?

This program is designed to help add an extra layer of security to your residence while you are out of town. A CCSO member will conduct occasional exterior perimeter checks of your home to look for suspicious activity.

How do I sign up?

To schedule House Watch for your residence click here and complete this form. Please enter all the applicable information and allow 48 hours to process your request. All information supplied is subject to verification and will be kept confidential.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This form is for vacation/out-of-town house watch service only.  Do not use this form to report anything suspicious or in progress. If you have an emergency please call 9-1-1.

 Additional Engagement Tools

If you have information about a crime you can submit a tip here. If the tip is in connection with a crime that is in progress, call 911.

Did you know that certain crimes can be reported online? You can learn more about that here.

Also, did you know that the state of Florida allows drivers to self-report certain traffic crashes online? It is a safe and secure way of reporting your traffic crash. Once completed, a copy of the Driver Self Report of Traffic Crash can be saved or printed for your record keeping convenience. It’s fast, simple to use, and the online process eliminates paperwork for the officer on scene. Click here to find out whether your crash qualifies for online reporting. If your accident does not qualify to be reported on line please call 239-252-9300. If there are injuries please call 9-1-1.

And if you regularly observe driving infractions like speeding, red-light-running or aggressive driving, call our ZOOM Traffic Hotline to report it. Deputies add these locations to their operational enforcement plans. Just call 239-530-ZOOM (9666) and leave a detailed message.
