Validations Specialist

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is looking for positive, proactive, energetic, enthusiastic individuals that support our core principles of community, safety, service to fill the position of Validations Specialist. Starting salary at $15.57 per hour.

Minimum requirements:
• Must be able to type 25 correct wpm.
• Minimum Wonderlic score of 18.
• Minimum OPAC scores of 80%.

Position requirements:
• Must be computer literate and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work evening shift and holidays.
• FCIC/NCIC certification preferred.
• Knowledge of practices and procedures of the validations process as required by FDLE.
• Knowledge of laws relating to public records, records management, records destruction and disposition.
• Ability to compile, interpret and analyze statistical data.
• Ability to train staff members.
• Ability to investigate data to resolve entry discrepancy.

Examples of duties:
• Gather and present supporting documentation for state audit.
• Coordinate user certification and re-certification.
• Provide FCIC/NCIC training and re-certification.
• Verify monthly validation report.
• Provide other Agency bureaus with findings relative to their functions.
• Provide support for the validations supervisor.
• Assume supervisory duties in supervisor’s absence.
