Deputies arrested a 22-year-old driver on multiple felonies after finding fraudulent credit cards and checks during a traffic stop Thursday on Interstate 75. 
Deputies stopped a vehicle traveling north on I-75 near the 94 mile marker after they saw the driver texting on a cell phone.
A check of state motor vehicle records found the driver, Kenny R. Bonnet of Port St. Lucie, had a suspended license in Florida.
While speaking to Bonnet, deputies smelled marijuana coming from his vehicle. Bonnet handed deputies a small bag of marijuana from inside the glove box and told them he didn’t’ have a medical marijuana card.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found numerous checks and credit cards which further investigation revealed were fraudulent.
Deputies arrested Bonnet and charged him with 11 counts of uttering a forged instrument and one count of possession of counterfeit credit cards.
Bonnet also faces misdemeanor marijuana possession and narcotic equipment possession charges after deputies also found a marijuana grinder and pack or rolling papers.
Deputies also found a loaded handgun concealed in the back pocket of the front passenger seat.
