Lely Student Charged With Disruption Of School Function

A Lely High School Student was arrested Friday after he made a disturbing statement at school.
According to detectives, the student made the statement to other students while in a classroom.
Upon further investigation, detectives determined the student did not have the ability to carry out such an act and arrested him on a charge of disruption of a school function, a misdemeanor.
Florida public records laws prohibits the release of the names and other identifying information of juveniles charged with a misdemeanor.
