How to Arrange for Service

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office Civil Division is charged with the statutory responsibility of serving and returning judicial process and enforcing judgment orders that originate from the Supreme Courts, Circuit Courts, County Courts and Board of County Commissioners.

How to arrange for service:
The Civil Office is open from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday with the exception of recognized holidays and is located at 3319 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112-4901.

Fees for Service
The fees assessed for service of process are fixed by Florida Statute 30.231 and are non-refundable. Method of payment is cash, money order and checks, payable to “The Collier County Sheriff’s Office” or CCSO. Documents received for service that are not properly issued, have incorrect fees, or have an incorrect payee will be returned.

Non-Enforceable Process $40.00

  • Summons
  • Civil/Criminal Subpoenas
  • Notice of Hearing
  • Order
  • Writ of Garnishment

Enforceable Process $90.00

  • Writ of Possession
  • Writ of Replevin
  • Writ of Attachment

*There is NO CHARGE to serve an Injunction for Protection*

**Note Stand by fee - $45 per hour (or any portion thereof), per deputy.
If a Deputy is requested to standby for more than 1 hour, the request should be made at the time the writ is presented for service, accompanied by the fee for the deputy(s) time.

Out of State Process
Service fee is $65.00 (per service) payable in advance. We accept cash, checks, and money orders. We do not bill, however, we will accept government checks. If no additional instructions are provided, service will be in accordance with Florida Statutes.

Private Process Servers
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office does not appoint individuals to serve non-enforceable civil process however; Certified Process Servers are appointed by the Chief Judge. For a list visit www.ca.cjis20.org/home/main/cps.asp.
