MARINE BUREAU

Collier County’s 80 nautical miles of waterways are patrolled by the Marine Bureau. 

They use marked and unmarked patrol boats, personal watercraft and airboats for:

• Law enforcement patrol on the waterways
  
• Coastal defense and human smuggling
  
• Search and rescue of boaters
  
• Marine mammal protection
