CCSO provides fingerprint cards for children.

If it is a child being fingerprinted, we require a birth certificate for the child and a form of identification for the parent such as a Driver's License or a Passport.

If you need to be fingerprinted in connection with a name change, those fingerprints must be taken electronically and you will need to make an appointment with the Identification Section at 793-9512 to have those done. Bring a Driver's License or Passport for identification.

NOTE: CCSO does not charge for fingerprinting at this time; however the FDLE will charge for the processing of the electronically scanned fingerprints.

The ridges from kids’ fingers become clearer as they age. You should have their fingerprints updated every two years.
