Deputies Release Surveillance Of Robbery Suspects

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Golden Gate on Sunday night.

Deputies responded to 7 Food Mart at 2332 Santa Barbara Blvd. around 9:41 p.m. following a report of an armed robbery. Two men entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. One was armed with a handgun and the other was armed with a rifle. They fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Deputies, assisted by K-9 and Aviation units, searched the area.

The suspect with the handgun was wearing a camouflage jacket, green pants and a black face mask. The suspect with the rifle wore a black jacket, black pants and a black mask.

Deputies believe this robbery may be connected to previous ones committed at the Rose Supermarket on Saturday, June 10 and the K Square Food Mart on Monday, June 12.
